Meet Stephanie Johnson: Your Guide to the Magic of Movement

Stephanie Johnson is a mother, Somatic Psychotherapist and Licensed Professional Counselor who has been passionately exploring the world of movement for over 35 years. Her journey began as a modern dancer, leading her to discover the profound connection between the body and mind. She then spent a decade as a dance educator, where she honed her knack for making even the most intricate concepts accessible to everyone.

What sets Stephanie apart is her unique ability to weave together her diverse background – from the dance floor to the therapy room – to help children and families thrive. As the Director of Sage Education and Therapy in Minneapolis, she's a beacon of support for those navigating attention and learning challenges. In her clinical work, Stephanie masterfully integrates a variety of approaches, including primitive reflex integration, to provide a truly holistic and effective experience for her clients.

Adding to her rich experience, Stephanie is a dedicated Waldorf parent, deeply immersed in the world of Waldorf education. She also serves as guest faculty at the Association for Healing Education (AHE) in Lexington, Massachusetts, sharing her expertise with a wider community of educators.

But that's not all! Stephanie is also the creative force behind the award-winning book "Baby Bare: A bottom-up approach to growing strong brains and bodies" and the beloved "Healing Movements for Kids" program. Her work has touched the lives of countless families and professionals worldwide.

When she's not empowering others with her knowledge, you'll find Stephanie enjoying the simple pleasures of life in St. Paul with her son and their two feline companions. With her warm personality, infectious enthusiasm, and down-to-earth teaching style, Stephanie makes learning a truly joyful experience.

Join Stephanie and embark on a journey to unlock the incredible potential of movement for yourself and the children in your life.
